The Design District Condos will use a black and white colour scheme, consisting of vertical lines across all three towers. The podium below the towers will start at the fourth storey and rise to the seventh story.

The podium will share the verticality of the bricks and windows found on the Trinity Lutheran Church, which is found on the northeast intersection of Wilson and Hughson Street North. Units will range from 452 square feet to 1,016 square feet.

This spectacular condo project will feature furnishings by none other than Louis Vuitton, the French luxury fashion powerhouse highly coveted worldwide. Composite book-matched quartz slab countertops and backsplashes will wow your guests. The impressive size of the countertops will provide all the space you need. Kitchens will also supply a single-basin stainless steel undermount sink with a single lever pull-down spray chrome finish faucet.

Juliet-style balconies on the podium will provide a view of the church from the north and south side of the building.

This condo will contain a total of 9,326 square metres of indoor and outdoor amenity space. Ground floor amenities will include three stunning lobbies that scream elegance with 24-hour 7-day-a-week concierge service, an elegant lounge, and a parcel room. The amenities of the mezzanine floor will consist of an exclusive party room lounge, a spacious coworking lounge and meeting rooms. There will be high-table seating and a bar.

The eighth floor, acting as the podium’s roof, will be easily accessible from all three towers and include the lavish amenities of your dreams.

The eighth floor will house a luxurious elevated outdoor pool, a pool deck, change rooms, a games area, and an outdoor covered BBQ station.

Enjoy the fire pit and outdoor lounge, the prime place for outdoor dining. Dining tables will be available in addition to separate spaces for intimate dining. Residents will enjoy cozy outdoor seating, including lounge furniture around the fire pit.

Similar to EMBLEM’s previous projects, we can expect this latest one to feature superior amenities that will undoubtedly benefit and add convenience to its residents’ lifestyles.

The building at street level will include a larger public area to accommodate residential and pedestrian usage. The space will serve as an area for an urban plaza, which will be located adjacent to the building, facing Hughson Street. Commercial facades will predominantly be on Hughson Street, while all facades at street level will include extended public space for furniture, trees and high-quality unit paving.

The more efficient use of spaces on this new condo will create higher suite valuations for investors. As a multi-node building, spaces will be used more efficiently to provide commercial stores that represent the greater downtown area and facilitate access to new cost-saving transportation options. The development will contain a total of 1,784 square metres of retail space on the ground floor.

These design choices will give residents greater access to amenities without leaving the complex. Additionally, the building’s exterior aesthetic will be similar to other buildings’ architecture, to maintain the preexisting design choices throughout the neighbourhood.

The developers have proposed ample parking spaces for its residents, with 505 spaces provided in an underground parking garage. Bicycle parking space will also be available totalling 469 spaces, 15 of which will be for short-term/retail use.

The Design District Condos will be located in the heart of downtown Hamilton with excellent connections to everyday conveniences and prime transportation options.

In terms of walking distance, This area walk score is 98/100, giving it above average times to reach commercial and public spaces. Commercial spaces including brand-named groceries stores, banks and pharmacies, can all be found within a 3 km radius.

For nightlife, there are restaurants representing multiple cultures, all within 2 km of the building. Some of these restaurants include the Sagarmatha Curry Palace, Lulu’s Shawarma and the Greek Palace.

Most of the increase in the job opportunities will be diverted to the downtown area. Since the majority of this area consists of mixed-use zones, many of these spaces can be changed to serve growing industries.

These spaces can be used for different industries such as hotels, financial services and long-term care homes.

This new pre-construction development will be on a gateway location on the northside of downtown Hamilton, providing shorter commute times for those traveling within the boundaries of downtown.
