This new condo development is a new luxury residence whose impressive debut resulted in national headlines.
One Delisle Condos is a mixed-use retail and condominium tower by SLATE in Toronto. This new 47-storey tower project is located at 1 Delisle Avenue on the northwest corner of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue West in the Deer Park neighbourhood.

One Delisle Condos

Amenities

One Delisle Condos will help invigorate the neighbourhood with 1,558 square metres of commercial space and, with a two-storey podium that will retain an existing 1929 art deco facade, likely to be occupied by exciting retail outlets and upmarket eateries. This condominium tower will contain offer a wide range of suites from one bedroom, one bedroom plus den, two bedrooms, two bedroom plus den, three bedrooms and penthouse suites. The building will be divided between three enviable tranches including:

  • City Collection: Floors 5 to 29
  • Sky Collection: Floors 30 to 43
  • Penthouse Collection: Floors 45 to 47

Each residential suite will come with custom interior design by Studio Gang, elevating the design experience in Toronto’s luxury market.

This development will come with iconic indoor and outdoor amenities including a zero edge pool with a water feature, expansive outdoor ravine terrace tailored to a host a variety of social gathering and events, wellness spa with a eucalyptus room, salt room and a dry sauna with private terraces.

There will also be a wine and cocktail lounge, fitness centre, chef’s kitchen and dining room, co-working spaces, kid’s room, 24 hour concierge service, lounge areas including lobby lounge and fireplace, redesign and expansion of Delisle park and retail at the base of the building.

New luxury residence on the northwest corner of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue West

Set to be expanded by 50 percent, the adjoining Delisle Street Parkette will be redesigned by landscaping architectural firm Janet Rosenberg + Studio; as well, this development will create a new pedestrian passageway through the block and introduce a public art installation to the site.

The City Collection will offer modern features and finishes including white smooth painted ceilings throughout, 9′ ceilings in principle areas, double glazed windows throughout, sliding balcony and terrace doors as per plan, juliet balcony sliding doors as per plan, solid core suite entry door, hardware and fixture options that correspond with design palettes, engineered oak hardwood floors (plank pattern), walk-in closets as per plan, washer and vented dryer with porcelain or natural stone tile flooring throughout and walk-in laundry rooms.

Custom, Studio Gang-designed kitchens

The suites will come with suite smart features including a mobile resident app available to all residents the application will control in-suite thermostats, enable amenity booking and include features for community, security, and privacy, keyless suite entry locks and utility submetering for electricity, water and thermal.

The kitchen’s will come with custom, Studio Gang-designed kitchens, pill-shaped Studio Gang-designed kitchen island as per plan, dining extension or breakfast bar as per plan, soft-closing precision drawers and doors throughout, contemporary built-in under cabinet lighting, engineered stone or quartz kitchen countertop and backsplash as per design palette and cooking appliances including electric cooktop, convection oven, built-in microwave and a panelized fridge.

The bathrooms will come with a bathtub and/or tiled shower with curb as per plan, showers will include rain and adjustable handheld showerheads, frameless glass enclosures as per plan, custom, Studio Gang-designed bathroom vanities with soft close drawers, porcelain vanity top with built up edge and undermount sink(s) as per plan and LED pot lights at bath and/or shower. The Sky Collection will come with many similar features and finishes with some differences between the City Collection.

Led by American architect Jeanne Gang, Studio Gang has become internationally-known for trailblazing design work that reconfigure architecture into a way to connect people socially, experientially, and intellectually.

With her firm having won multiple awards for their unprecedented architectural designs, Gang herself has been recognized by Time Magazine as the world’s most influential architect of 2019, the only person in her field to be named to the Time 100 list this year.

As a work of art, this building will unmistakably become an indelible part of the Toronto skyline; as a residence, this condo will undoubtedly become the city’s most coveted address.

Location & Neighbourhood

With the announcement of One Delisle Condos, the intersection of St. Clair and Yonge looks to reclaim much of the fame it was known for in the 70’s and 80’s. Previously a focal point for luxury retailers, Deer Park neighbourhood’s busiest crossroads remains an important transportation and commercial area for this affluent neighbourhood.

As it stands today, Yonge and St. Clair is a walkable neighbourhood with many local conveniences, a fact reflected by its sterling Walk Score of 92 that signifies daily errands at this location do not require a car.

Here, residents can find a number of retail shops and services that include a Loblaws grocery store, a pharmacy, a Home Hardware, and a local branch of the Toronto Public Library.
